We are a family owned and operated transportation company focused on improving the health of our community through providing friendly, safe, reliable, non-emergency rides to and from medical appointments. Errands and general outings are contingent upon availability.

Our standard operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Keep in mind that our availability and hours may vary based on your transportation requirements. Additionally, Saturday trips are subject to availability.

Pricing

Pricing is based on distance, wait time, number of riders, and accommodations needed. Please give us a call for more information. We can work with your insurance company if your policy includes these benefits.

We serve Bayfield, Ashland, Iron, and Douglas Counties including trips to Duluth, MN. Exceptions can be made beyond this service area with advanced notice.

Our drivers are trained in First Aid, CPR, seizure precautions and defensive driving. Drivers are trained to use gait belts as well as all other safety equipment onboard.

We are certified as a dementia friendly business. Our staff have received training on how dementia effects individuals and on how better serve, assist, and understand clients with cognitive impairments in a dignified and respectful way.

Our Vans

A weekly check of systems is conducted to ensure the reliability, safety, and cleanliness of our vehicles.  Our vans are equipped with first aid kits, fire extinguishers, flashlights, cell phones, and list of phone numbers of local first responders.  Our vans are routinely serviced.  Surfaces are disinfected between all rides. We carry full commercial auto and liability insurance. All vans are ADA compliant.

We accommodate standard and motorized wheelchairs and, of course, walkers and other mobility aids. Our vans have a rear loading ramp.

We have a standard transport wheelchair which clients are welcome to use during transport and throughout medical appointments. We also have a fully adjustable wide based step stool designed to assist those who prefer to ride up front but have difficulty transferring in and out. Vans are also equipped with gait belts to allow drivers to assist clients with mobility limitations.
